Anniversary of the latest expression of racism

Four years of international silence.
Today marks the fourth year since Islamists from one of the world’s 52 Muslim countries/territories – the Hamas regime in Gaza – invaded the world’s only Jewish country – Israel – and illegally kidnapped an Israeli teenager, Gilad Schalit.
Over these four years the FN, EU (Schalit is also a French citizen), the Red Cross and all the world’s innumerable organisations for “human rights” signally ignored the fate of Gilad Schalit. They have ignored the fact that he has been held in isolation from his family (an illegal practice), has no access to a lawyer (an illegal denial of his human rights) and is still consistently denied visits from the Red Cross (illegal flouting of his most fundamental human rights). By way of comparison, Israeli prisons hold Hamas terrorists who are convicted of mass-murder but who nonetheless enjoy regular visits by family members, lawyers and the Red Cross.
Of course the Hamas terrorists are Muslim (their religion) and Islamists (their political affiliation/international identity). The world community is accordingly extremely keen to meet their every demand. Gilad Schalit, on the other hand, is merely a Jew (his religion) and Israeli (his political affiliation/national identity). And therefore totally unimportant on two counts.
The following short film shows how the Islamic world regards Jews – they aim to “send them back to Nazi extermination camps”.

To truly understand how Islamists say one thing in English to the world community, and an entirely different thing in Arabic to their co-religionists, read Raymond Ibrahim’s article “The Two Faces of the Ground Zero Mosque” in the Middle East Forum.
The world community is not only silent on the fate of the Jew Gilad Schalit. He was kidnapped from Israel while a teenager. In Afghanistan, meanwhile, the Taliban are executing Muslim children as young as eight years old.
So what is the common denominator? That the world community doesn’t care about Jews? Or that the world community does not dare criticise anything an Islamic dictatorship does, irrespective of the level of bestiality? Or both?
It’s probably the latter. Not least the Church of Sweden is guilty of this selective blindness – in BOTH eyes. The very same Church of Sweden that remains utterly silent on the Islamists’ illegal kidnapping of teenager Gilad Schalit, is equally silent on the illegal Islamist practices of executing young children, female genital mutilation and honour killings. Yet this very same Church of Sweden has a “Foreign Minister” (believe it or not!) who nonetheless has both the time and the resources to forcefully condemn the Jewish state because Israel will not permit uncontrolled import of rockets by Hamas in Gaza. The Church of Sweden’s “Foreign Minister” is joined by the Swedish Communist Port Workers Union in mercilessly criticising the Jewish state while ignoring abhorrent practices in the Muslim world.
However, this “Foreign Minister” has neither time nor resources to condemn Egypt for its devastating treatment of the country’s Christian Coptic minority, or the Palestinian Authority for its devastating treatment of Palestinian Christians in Christianity’s birthplace, or Pakistan for its devastating treatment of Christians in Karachi, or Hamas for its devastating treatment of Christians in the Gaza Strip. It is remarkable how silent this “Foreign Minister” from the Church of Sweden is when it comes to Muslim and Islamist crimes, but leaps to the attack when it sees an opportunity to delegitimise the Jewish nation’s right to self-defence.
Meantime, the BBC and other sources report on how Jewish dancers in Germany were stoned by Muslims when they performed on stage at a cross-cultural festival.
The Church of Sweden’s “Foreign Minister” is silent on this too. Perhaps she regards Germany as part of Sweden and thus a domestic issue more suited for comment by the Church of Sweden’s Home Secretary, not a matter for comment by the “Foreign Minister”. Who knows how selective blindness can afflict the brain?
