Here are the facts, draw your own conclusions

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Few comments, more facts. Read, absorb, and draw your own conclusions as to where humanity is to be found and where systematic, government-sanctioned and EU-financed brutality is the order of the day.

Tundra Tabloids has an interview with sergeant Edi Itelman, the Israeli military paramedic who came to the village of Itamar in the disputed territories after the Palestinian massacre of five members of the Israeli Fogel family – mother, father and three children aged 11, 3 and just 3 months.

An article was published a few days ago on this blog analysing how the UN and the world at large respond to two vicious tyrannical regimes, those of Hamas and Gaddafi, both of which systematically attack civilians, deny human rights and crush all aspirations of democracy. Explain the difference if you can.

Yet again today missiles are raining down on Israeli civilians, despatched by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. To understand how internal political rivalries between the two biggest Palestinian terrorist organisations, Fatah and Hamas, by definition always cause the spilling of Jewish blood in a kind of barbaric Middle Ages ritual, read the following article by Jonathan S. Tobin in Commentary Magazine. To widen the perspective and see how the West is set to sacrifice Israel for the UN’s strategic mistake in attacking the tyrannical but secular Gaddafi regime in Libya, only to have it replaced by a tyrannical but radical Islamist regime, read “Just Whom is the US Backing in Libya” by the David Horowitz Freedom Center and also “A Terrible Resonance” by Melanie Phillips writing in Spectator.

To understand where the weapons are coming from – and why – read about Iran’s supplies of increasingly sophisticated weaponry to both Hizbollah north of Israel and Hamas south of Israel.

And finally this blog post concludes with news of yet another rescue mission carried out by Israeli military paramedics, this one also in the disputed territories, but with the crucial difference that this time Israeli military paramedic corporal Haim Levine succeeded in saving the lives of both the Palestinian Arab mother and her infant daughter, who was named “Jude” in a gesture of gratitude to the Jewish Israelis who saved her life. This incident took place during “Israeli Apartheid Week” – the 14-day “week” (!) of hate-mongering against the Jewish state that seems to occupy many tiny minds in the West but that local Palestinian Arabs will not touch with a barge-pole. The local Palestinians prefer instead to give birth to their babies in Jewish settlements in the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria while Israel Apartheid Week rages everywhere else apart from in Israel and the disputed territories. Go figure.

Interesting contrasts: Palestinian Arabs who ritually slaughter sleeping Jewish infants by severing their heads from their torsos, Israeli military personnel who save the lives of Palestinian Arab women and infants. Both within a few hours of each other, both within a couple of kilometres of each other in the disputed territories. Missiles raining down on Jewish Israeli civilians, Jewish Israeli civilians flying to Japan to assist the victims of the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

How difficult is it really to choose sides in civilisation’s struggle for survival? Anyone who still doubts what conclusions they should draw?

Israel betrayed

Melanie Phillips, a great thinker and analyst whose prolific output can be read in a variety of publications and books, has an extremely thought-provoking article about the Palestinian Arab death-cult that the selectively blind Western world euphemistically refers to as “Palestinian culture”

It is this “culture” that justifies the executions of 3-month-old and 10-month-old Jewish infants in asleep in their cots or prams by heroic Palestinian freedom-fighters. In her article, Melanie Phillips analyses the Western world’s craven inability to address burning existential issues such as Muslim intransigence, Islamic terrorism and Islamist racism.

Read the article, even if you read nothing else this year.

In “Palestine”, it’s business as usual

Sunday, March 13th, 2011

In Japan, a massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami has caused a huge death toll, enormous numbers of people are injured and missing, and much of the island nation’s infrastructure in the affected area has been smashed beyond recognition.

For the rest of the world, it’s business as usual: all civilised nations immediately and unquestioningly diverted their best resources to assist the Japanese in their hour of need, sending search and rescue units, medical and food supplies and so on. Here for instance is what Israel is doing to help, and here are details of the Swedish, US and British aid efforts, among many, many others.

In much of the Muslim world, there is an equally massive upheaval in demographic terms as millions of downtrodden citizens wanting nothing more than democracy and human rights are finally struggling to overthrow entrenched despots and tyrants, from Tunisia and Libya to Egypt and Bahrain – and beyond: the Iranians are extremely nervous and as usual in the mullahs’ dictatorship, their nervousness means civilians are going to die.

For the rest of the world, it’s business as usual: all civilised nations immediately and unquestioningly diverted their best resources to assist the persecuted Arabs in their hour of need, with demands in capitals the world over that the despots step down, that democracy be established, even that a no-fly zone be created to prevent Gaddafi’s massacre of his own people in Libya. Here for instance is what the UK is doing to help, and here are details of the Swedish, UN and US efforts to aid Arabs suffering under the yoke of Arab tyranny.

In Itamar in the Jewish province of Samaria, also known as the West Bank from the time when it was occupied by Jordan, a mother, father and three young children aged 11, 3 and just 3 months were murdered in their beds on Friday night after Sabbath prayers and dinner. The perpetrators are Palestinian Arabs from the surrounding area. The horrific terrorist attack – all the indications are that it was carried out by forces affiliated with the Palestinian Authority’s Fatah political party headed by President Mahmud Abbas – was part of the Palestinian national movement for self-determination.

For the rest of the world, it’s business as usual: civilised nations said nothing, then nothing, then made a few statements expressing regret while continuing to pump billions of dollars into the Palestinian Arab economy of Mahmud Abbas. Here is what US president Barack Hussein Obama said, while continuing to withdraw tax revenue from the US Federal Reserve and transferring it to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah. The IDF – Israel Defence Force – has said it will not rest until the perpetrators have been brought to justice, and it will not rely on anyone else to get the job done bearing in mind the brutality of the barbaric act. Israeli PM Benyamin Netanyahu did not pull his punches, laying the blame squarely on the climate of incitement and racist aggression deliberately created and perpetrated by the Palestinian Authority.

To see pictures of the slain family – with the full consent and indeed at the express wishes of the surviving family members – click on this link. I have refrained from inserting the images into the body of this blogpost so as not to offend the sensibilities of readers who prefer not to see the pictures – nobody should be forced to see images of this kind without adequate warning.

For Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas (he is president of Ramallah and a couple of outlying villages) it’s also business as usual. Voicing indignation with all the savagery of a wet sponge, he mumbled that he rejects “all violence directed at civilians”. Well, that should put his troops in their place, they must be quivering in their (US- and EU-funded) boots. This racist bigot (he is a notorious Holocaust denier) simply cannot bring himself to condemn the wanton, brutal murder of Jewish civilians – babies even – by Muslim terrorists fed on a barbaric cocktail of unquestioning religious zeal and bigoted nationalistic fervour.

In “Palestine”, it’s business as usual. But hey, let’s keep shutting down our schools, hospitals and police stations in Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, and instead use that money to fund the Palestinian Arabs. They’re always shown they’re worth it. The massacre in Itamar is no exception but simply par for the Palestinian Arab course.

They murder, we pay them.

Business as usual.

Watch this slide show which explains the statistics behind UN-funded aid to the Palestinian Arabs.
