Israeli Parliamentarian Haneen Zoabi: sedition or treason?

Friday, July 27th, 2012

Anti-Semitic and anti-Israel MK Haneen Zoabi is at it again: now she is blaming the civilian Israeli victims for the terror attack in Bulgaria that took their lives. They are guilty and deserving of death because they are citizens of the Jewish state, according to Zoabi.

At what stage does sedition become treason or high treason in a time of ongoing armed conflict? If Rabbi Meir Kahane and his political party Kach were banned owing to allegations of racism, how is it that Zoabi and her Balad anti-Semitic and anti-Israel political party are allowed to continue operating?

Zoabi needs to be escorted to the political entity that she openly claims to represent: the nascent “state of Palestine”. Let her pursue her political aspirations there.

Here’s what confirmed anti-Semite Haneen Zoabi has to say on the slaughter of Jewish civilians by Islamist fanatics in Bulgaria:

“Israel is not a victim, and even when civilians are killed, the occupying Israeli policy is to blame.”

”If there was no occupation, no repression and no blockade, then this wouldn’t have happened.”

All of which makes it very difficult for Zoabi to explain Palestinian Arab massacres of Israeli Jews prior to 1967 when the “occupation” started (following Jordan’s illegal occupation and annexation of Judea & Samaria, also known as the West Bank), or Palestinian Arab massacres of Palestinian Jews during the Mandate era prior to the re-establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. The Hebron massacre of 1929, when 69 unarmed Jewish civilians were slaughtered by Arabs for being Jewish, is just one such case. Even the notoriously anti-Israel BBC recognises the racist Muslim Arab slaughter of Jews as nothing other than a xenophobically fuelled massacre.

Zoabi is a corrupting influence on the political scene. She lives solely to dissent, abusing the freedoms she has in the Jewish state and knowing full well she would not be able to enjoy even a tiny percentage of these freedoms in any Arab state. Especially not the nascent “Palestine” whose Palestinian Authority under Holocaust-denying President Mahmoud Abbas routinely imprisons and kills journalists, political opponents and Christians and openly declares that “Islam will be the official religion” of his state, should it ever manage to coerce the world into financing it – because the Palestinian Arabs have no intention whatsoever of actually WORKING to establish their state. That sounds just too much like hard work. Interestingly, the Arab world is studiously ignoring the PA’s spoiled-brat demands for more, more, more while the only country actually aiding the PA is Israel! A fact that Haneen Zoabi conveniently ignores.

It is admittedly a great advert for Israeli democracy that even a racist hatemonger like Haneen Zoabi is allowed the freedom to express her opinions, but it is time to consider whether in fact the modest benefits of this openness are not far outweighed by the poison she spreads on a daily basis.

Blaming civilian Jewish holidaymakers for their own deaths at the hands of Islamist extremists crosses every imaginable red line. Zoabi should have her immunity revoked (it’s been done to her before) and she should be expelled to Ramallah. Let Abbas embrace her – after all she is Muslim so in his eyes she’s kosher (pardon the expression).

Abbas and his never-ending dance with the devil

Saturday, June 30th, 2012

Fatah/PLO/PA non-elected head/Holocaust denier Mahmoud Abbas has – surprise, surprise – cancelled a meeting with Israeli Vice-Premier Shaul Mofaz in Ramallah. The aim of the meeting was to kick-start peace talks between the two sides in the seemingly never-ending pan-Arab hostilities against the Jewish state of Israel.

The Jerusalem Post reports that Abbas “bowed to public pressure” among the populace of the Palestinian territories. In plain English: the Palestinian Arabs don’t want peace, they don’t want to talk peace, they don’t even want a meeting that may result in the opening of peace negotiations.

The first question is just how the BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera et all will present this Palestinian Arab refusal to meet the Israelis as a Zionist refusal to hold talks with this “peace-loving” nascent “Palestinian Arab” state.

The second question is: What exactly could these talks have produced?

  • Palestine I (aka Jordan, occupying 77 percent of the mandated Jewish homeland) is apparently not enough for the Palestinian Arabs.
  • Palestine II they already have in the Gaza Strip, from which all Jews have been ethnically cleansed – including dead Jews whose bodies had to be dug up and re-interred elsewhere in Israel for fear of desecration by followers of the Religion of Peace.
  • Palestine III is what Abbas says he wants in the Jewish provinces of Judea and Samaria, aka the West Bank (the name derived from Jordan’s illegal occupation of Judea and Samaria between 1948 and 1967, when all Jews were ethnically cleansed from their homes). But Abbas cannot risk holding talks on the formation of Palestine III there because that would de facto mean he relinquishes his claims on:
  • Palestine IV, which is the Jewish State of Israel. 22 percent of Israel’s population consists of Arabs, both Muslim and Christian. That’s great, it’s a sign of diversity, multi-ethnicity, religious tolerance and democracy. Palestine I and II already have no Jews, and Abbas openly and proudly asserts he will never allow Jews to live in Palestine III. And he still lays claim to the Land of Israel, where he wants to create Palestine IV.

Now bear in mind that Israel without Jordan is 23% of the Jewish homeland. OK, let’s accept that, after all Jordan exists, and 75 percent of its population is “Palestinian Arab” – that’s their own figures, not mine. Israel without Judea & Samaria and without Gaza equates to 50% of the remaining 23 percent, that is to say 11.5 percent of the mandated Jewish homeland of Israel. So let’s say we accept even that. Israel pulled out of Gaza and received 15,000 rockets and mortars on its civilian communities in response. The world remained silent. Until Israel responded with military action to silence the rockets and mortars. And yet the world insists Israel repeat the same mistake with Abbas in Palestine III – even though the Fatah leader flatly refuses to even meet with Jews for discussions.

See the elephant in the room: Abbas and his ilk don’t care about building Palestine I, or II, or III. All they want is the destruction of Israel so they can build Palestine IV in its place – and they don’t care how many civilian Palestinian Arab and Israeli Jewish lives it costs, or how many dollars and euros the world has to take from needy citizens to pump into his corrupt regime and thus maintain this macabre, never-ending dance with the devil.

Double standards

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

TIP (The Israel Project) has put together the following brief, admirably objective and startlingly stark analysis of terrorism’s perpetrators.

When Israel deals with arch-terrorists who have a documented track record of mass-murder, there is loud indignation from politicians and organisations around the world. But when other nations deal with equally vicious terrorists guilty of equally heinous crimes, these nations are instead applauded by the very same politicians and organisations.

Double standards indeed.
