The Jewish nation’s intact moral compass

Monday, July 7th, 2014

Many people are dissecting what they have chosen to term Israel’s “delusions of moral superiority” following the appalling murder of Muhammed Abu Khdeir.

The fact is that the disgust expressed by the entire Jewish people and the entire nation of Israel, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres, and the unified condemnation by the entire Israeli government of this one (1) Arab teenage boy’s disgraceful, inexcusable murder speaks volumes about the intact moral compass of the Jewish people and the Jewish state.

Equally, the delight, the public celebrations, the official Palestinian Arab government support and the joyful three-fingered salutes by young children that accompanied the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli Jewish teenagers Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yifrach – the inexcusable brutal act that preceded and directly sparked this inexcusable brutal act – speak volumes about the deranged moral compass of Palestinian Arab society.

We also have to remember that none of this started with the killing of those three Israeli schoolboys: there are countless hundreds of young Israeli Jewish victims of Palestinian Arab barbarity over the years, some as young as a few months old, all deliberately targeted simply for being Jewish. The most recent such abhorrent Arab crime targeting an Israeli, Shelley Dadon, simply because she was Jewish, took place in May 2014 and herArab killer was recently brought to justice.

There is a difference too in that no streets or public squares, no schools or computer centres, no sports arenas or soccer teams will be named in “honour” of Muhammed Abu Khdeir’s despicable murderers, whatever their ethnicity, religion, nationality or motivation. In the Jewish state as in the Jewish psyche, murder is illegal and abhorrent. No ifs, no buts, no explanations, no excuses. And definitely no cause for public celebration in the streets.

The families of the murderers will not be paid a lifetime pension (see also herehere and here) by the Israeli government. That, however, is exactly what happens with Palestinian Arab mass-murderers, whose own income and that of their families stands in direct proportion to the number of civilian Jews they succeed in killing. The incitement, the racism, the active encouragement to violence by the Palestinian Arab government and its various institutions is the source of this vile climate, and a dangerously naive world community provides the international funding that makes possible this corruption of an entire generation of Palestinian Arab children – children who are already shouldering the responsibilities of adulthood and taking with them these attitudes into positions of political, commercial and religious leadership.

So in all the perfectly understandable soul-searching following this most recent sequence of tragedies, in which Palestinian Arab society has yet again perpetrated and celebrated the kidnapping and murder of children and the consequential one-off kidnapping and murder of an Arab child in a disgustingly misguided tit-for-tat act of retaliation, keep sight of what this whole desperate situation is actually about: the insatiable penchant of the Palestinian Arabs for Jewish blood. From the 1929 massacre of Jews in Hebron to today (see also herehereherehere and here).

Therefore, enough talk about this misguided concept of “moral superiority”. The world judges the Jewish state and the Jewish people by a totally different standard – and this is a nasty, primitive racist attitude.

Of course, that racism of which the world community is guilty may actually be of a different kind altogether: people expect Jews and the Jewish state to behave in a more “civilised”, “enlightened” and “acceptable” way than the Arab neighbours that surround Israel. A kind of “they don’t know any better and they’re not capable of any better, so we might just as well get used to the Arabs’ primitive behaviour”. Well, that’s despicable racism too. Because this is 2014, and every one of us is capable of civilised behaviour. To have low expectations of an entire ethnicity, nationality or religion simply because you don’t believe they are capable of any better is genuine, died-in-the-wool racism.

And that’s unacceptable. In the terrible situation caused by Palestinian Arab racism towards Jews, we need to acknowledge Palestinian Arab racism for what it is and stop condoning the world community’s eager embrace of that racism: racism aimed at the Jewish state because it is inexcusable to hold Jews to a higher standard, and racism aimed at the Palestinian Arabs because it is equally inexcusable to hold Arabs to a lower standard.

Because ultimately it is actual behaviour each and every day that counts. This one (1) single disgraceful aberration by the killers of Muhammed Abu Khdeir stands in stark contrast to the decades-long despicable behaviour of the PA and its various illusionary “partners for peace”. The PA has deliberately and carefully crafted a violent, racist, misogynistic, anti-democratic, corrupt and genocidal society over the years – all funded by theUNEU and US.

Now, an exposé of THAT issue would be an interesting and relevant article to read.

Hatred triumphs over ethics

Sunday, June 22nd, 2014

As the Muslim Middle East burns, the Presbyterian Church (USA) takes a brave stand – against Israel.

Sunni Muslim terrorist group Boko Haram is slaughtering its way through Christian communities in Nigeria, its reputation for barbarism preceding it as it rides a wave of genocidal attacks.

Somalia’s Sunni al-Shabab Muslim terrorist group is wreaking havoc in both Somalia and neighbouring Kenya, its reputation for mindless brutality well-deserved following many significant attacks in both countries. It is viciously opposed not only to Christianity but also to Sufi Muslim traditions and seeks every opportunity to uproot all traces of Sufi Islamic practice.

A large number of Sunni Al Qaeda-inspired Muslim terrorist groups are spreading their poison across the Maghreb; North African Muslim nations such as Libya are being increasingly held to ransom as the violence enters a new phase with the use of advanced weaponry.

Lebanon is in a vice, trying desperately to maintain some semblance of normality as the Shia Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah tightens its stranglehold on this multi-ethnic nation that has seen so much sectarian strife and bloodshed over the past few decades.

Shia Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah is also operating with impunity in neighbouring Syria, whose nominal head of state, the Muslim Alawite Bashar al-Assad, has so far slaughtered about 160,000 of his own citizens while at the same time making more than 9 million Syrians, of whom 5.5 million children, either internally displaced or refugees overseas as a result of the civil war.

The other party in that Syrian civil war is the Sunni Muslim ISIL/ISIS forces (Islamic State in the Levant/Islamic State in Syria). Their brutality is legendary, they indiscriminately behead Shia Muslims and burn Christians alive in a deliberate campaign of terror aimed at driving away all those who do not conform to their strict interpretation of Islam. ISIS/ISIL have achieved immense military successes both in Syria and now also in neighbouring Iraq, about one-third of which they control.

Iraq’s Shia Muslim Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki has deliberately sidelined his country’s 35 percent Sunni minority, leading to the civil strife we see now, with the Sunni ISIS currently in control of about one-third of Iraq and much of its vital oil infrastructure.

Further to the east, neighbouring Shia Iran has genocidal nuclear weapons ambitions and is now being given a free ticket by the US and other blinkered Western nations to play a decisive role in Shia-majority Iraq to prevent its further dismemberment. Iran has always had its eyes on greater control of the Shia parts of Iraq, and world powers now handing this prize over to the mullahs in Tehran – a gift not even they would have dreamed of in their wildest imagination. But such is the fickleness of the West – and its inability to see beyond the extremely limited agenda it has set for itself.

What is that limited agenda, you ask? Well, with North Africa and large swathes of sub-Saharan Africa ablaze with fanatical Islamist terrorism, and equally fanatical Islamist terrorism setting uncontrollable sectarian fires across the Levant and reaching all the way into Iraq and Iran, the world powers have their sights set on just one tiny, utterly irrelevant but massively costly scenario. A scenario that over the past 70 years has cost the world community untold billions of dollars in “aid” which somehow ends up in overseas private bank accounts (see also here, here, here and here).

The Israeli-Palestinian Arab issue. A non-issue. Something that can be resolved tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock over a cup of coffee and a bagel if only the Palestinian Arabs reconcile themselves to having lost every war of extermination they and their overseas backers have started against the Jewish state. All it takes is for them to publicly acknowledge that they no longer have any ambition to erase Israel and eradicate every last Jew from the region. That’s all.

Instead, as Africa and the Middle East are ablaze with Islamic terrorism, the West continues to pay lip service – and massive amounts of its citizens’ hard-earned tax revenues – to Palestinian Arab expansionist ambitions. Continuing to feed the insatiable appetite of the Palestinian Arabs for our income, our resources, our goodwill, our time.

But the world can no longer afford to devote a grotesquely disproportionate portion of its limited resources to continue pandering to the Palestinian Arabs’ wanton thirst for Jewish blood, Jewish teenagers and schoolboys, Jewish families. The world now has to deal robustly with the scourge of Islamist terrorism that is spreading far and wide. One spiralling problem is the fact that many Islamists from Western countries are travelling to hotbeds of conflict to gain military experience before returning home to practise their black art on the societies that gave them shelter and nurtured them. It’s a problem that intelligence, security and police services want to address, while their political masters try desperately to avoid the issue hoping it will go away. That’s just not going to happen.

As Islamist terrorism spreads throughout already volatile parts of the world, the world community is feeling increasingly uncomfortable about devoting all its resources to the pampered, spoilt brats of the Palestinian Arab leadership. We can ill afford to continue appeasing the Palestinian Arabs every time they throw a tantrum. The world community is getting increasingly impatient with Palestinian Arabs kidnapping Jewish schoolchildren for use as blackmail in achieving what increasing numbers of people see as a distasteful goal – the release of convicted mass-murderers into mainstream society, which evidently is the highest aspiration of Palestinian Arab society.

Because the world has far, far more important issues to deal with. Real problems that threaten whole societies and nations, as opposed to the redacted and often laughably staged Pallywood scenarios that the Palestinian Arabs employ to tug at the heart-strings – and purse-strings – of a world increasingly fed up with their spoiled-brat antics.

Despite the occasional successes of some BDS campaigns, despite their despicable successes in kidnapping schoolchildren and the Palestinian Arabs’ sick preoccupation with violence and death, today they are in danger of being ignored by a world fed up with their selfishness and the massive drain on limited resources that they represent, while genuine humanitarian and strategic crises are flaring up and demanding world attention.

Only problem is, the Palestinian Arab leadership is simply too stupid to realise any of this.

Hamas for Dummies

Wednesday, June 18th, 2014

Truth be told, the title of this piece should instead be “Hamas are Dummies”.

Here’s why.

All the intel indicates that the three Israeli Jewish schoolboys kidnapped on June 12 were abducted by Hamas.

Almost a week later, their whereabouts are still not known. Palestinian Arab society erupted into paroxysms of joypublic celebration and calls for more kidnappings. And who can blame them – for so many decades now their leaders have assiduously taught them to rely on crime, murder, theft, lies, indoctrination, racism and genocide as noble tools for achieving an even nobler goal: the extinction of Jews from the region.

The Palestinian Arabs even enlisted their own youngest schoolchildren in their propaganda, proudly showing young kids flashing three fingers in celebration of the “victory” of having kidnapped three Jewish schoolchildren. Read that again: Palestinian Arab society has so brainwashed its own children that they celebrate the kidnapping of other children. It speaks volumes of that society – and neatly addresses the non-issue of the chances for peace in the future. What peace with a society whose future leaders are today being taught (at UN, EU and US taxpayer-funded expense) that kidnapping children is a cause for celebration? The world is noting this with revulsion, and the backlash is already on the way.

Because when all is said and done, what has the “success” of the kidnapping given Hamas?

Yes, they are still holding three Jewish schoolchildren whose sole crime is that they are Jewish. But here are just some of the costs to Hamas and the other Palestinian Arab terrorist groups and indeed the general Palestinian Arab populace:

  1. Day after day, night after night, Israel is identifying, locating, rounding up and destroying illegal weapons caches. That’s hundreds of thousands of shekels worth of smuggled weapons crushed to dust. Weapons belonging not just to Hamas, but to all Palestinian Arab gangs. When the first round is over, the search will proceed deeper: water wells will be excavated in the hunt for concealed weapons, apartment building foundations will be dug up, warehouses will be torn apart. Oh, it will all be put back together, but the price to the general populace in the meantime will be uncountable. And it’s all down to Hamas.
  2. Soon the only place to safely store weapons will be in mosques, a common Palestinian Arab tactic, but as the Israeli surveillance drones continue their untiring unmanned missions, that is where the weapons will be forced to remain. Hidden and useless. Your planning is impeccable, Hamas.
  3. Night after night, more and more Hamas operatives, terrorists and leaders are being rounded up by the IDF. But these searches also disrupt the operations of the other terrorist gangs, those that had nothing to do with the kidnappings. Fatah is already gunning for Hamas because of the resultant loss of its freedom of movement and its resultant inability to continue its targeting of Israeli children. Jihad Islami and the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade are also being severely curtailed in their ongoing activities. So they all have Hamas in their cross-hairs – anything to get the IDF off their backs and restore calm.
  4. With the kidnappings, Hamas has succeeded in doing something that not even Israel’s own politicians have achieved: they have welded together ALL of Israeli society in the face of this terrible predicament. Israeli society is 100 percent behind the country’s political and military leaders. Not even Benjamin Netanyahu managed to do that in all his years in power. Now the Prime Minister has the whole nation behind him. Thanks Hamas.
  5. Even the traditionally anti-Israel UN and EU, two organisations that are firmly antagonistic to the Jewish state, have come out in support of Israel over the kidnapping of the three schoolboys. Never could Israel have dreamed of getting both the UN and the EU firmly behind the Jewish state. Seriously, big thanks Hamas.
  6. Even overseas Jewish groups not always comfortable about supporting Israel have come out in full support of the Jewish state following the kidnapping. Hamas has succeeded in bringing together world Jewry where even the Jewish Agency failed – and the effect will last. Many thanks, Hamas.
  7. Almost the best bit of all: following the kidnappings, Norway has indefinitely postponed a long-scheduled international donors’ meeting for financial aid to the Palestinian Arabs. Following the “unity government” that brought together the two main Palestinian Arab terrorist groups, Fatah and Hamas, it now transpires that not only Hamas but also Fatah will suffer the financial consequences of cancelled aid. Seriously Hamas, you should candidate for a position in the Israeli Knesset because you are doing more for Israel in its ongoing battle against Palestinian Arab extremism – including curtailing international funding – than the Jewish state has ever managed on its own. Keep up the good work.
  8. Convicted Palestinian Arab terrorists already in Israeli jails are now having all their privileges withdrawn. Including Israeli taxpayer-funded university education – so Israeli taxpayers are overjoyed.
  9. Already freed Palestinian Arab mass-murderers, 1000 of whom were released in exchange for one (1) Israeli abductee Gilad Schalit a couple of years ago, are now being rearrested by Israel.  So Hamas are not exactly their flavour of the month there either…
  10. And finally, that perpetual thorn in Israel’s side, that fifth-columnist and traitor guilty of multiple treason against the country in which she serves as a Member of Knesset (parliament), Arab MK Hanin Zoabi, has at last overplayed her hand, joyfully proclaiming her support for the kidnapping of the citizens of her own country by agents of an enemy entity. Calls to expel her from the Knesset are now gathering broad support all across the Israeli political spectrum. When she went so far as to condemn Mohammed Zoabi, a teenage member of her own family, simply because he as an Israeli citizen expressed support for the three teenage Israelis kidnapped by Hamas, his lawmaker relative Ms Hanin Zoabi publicly abused and threatened him. Her extremist family took their cue from her – resulting in Israel Police arresting three members of her family for threatening the life of the teenage Mohammed. The whole of Israel is caught up in the drama of the three kidnapped Jewish Israeli schoolboys – and equally in their fervent support of Arab Israeli schoolboy Mohammed Zoabi whose crime was to express dismay at the kidnapping and empathy with the victims.

So all told, Hamas, you’ve done a great job: united all of Israel, ensured international backing for the Jewish state, cut off funding to your own people, seen masses of Palestinian Arab terrorists arrested and rearrested, and finally outed Hanin Zoabi, a treacherous fifth columnist within Israel. Tactically, strategically, short-term and long-term, you’ve done a brilliant job.

Really, Hamas, you’re giving us everything we ever wanted.

Now keep looking over your shoulders. Not for the Israeli army, who as you know will always treat you humanely.

But for your very own Palestinian Arab comrades-in-arms. You’ve cost them a whole lot.

Once again, thanks.

Signed: the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, who have come together as never before.
